 The Olympic Lottery Distributor will work with its partners to ensure that the principle of a lasting legacy is met through the distribution of Olympic Lottery funds.
New infrastructure including houses, community facilities and improved transport links will transform the Lower Lea Valley. Some of the buildings which are being constructed for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be permanent structures which will be used after the Games for sporting and community events. In addition, there will be some relocatable venues which can be moved to areas in need throughout the UK.
