Key information Location In the south east corner of the Olympic Park. Status Procurement for a contractor is underway. Work is complete on the southern roof support (Dec 08) and underway on the northern roof support. Timeframe Construction on the site started in July 2008, two months ahead of schedule. Purpose Will comprise a 50m competition pool, a 50m training pool and a diving pool. Capacity 17,500 Post 2012 Will be adapted to a 2,500 capacity with ability to increase to 3,500 for larger competitions. From above
